So Dane and I went to Vegas with some great pals of ours Woody and Laura Nielson.
We had an absolute blast with them.

We left Molly with our wonderful mothers who loved
and cared for her as we would have.

Highlights: #1 Woody puttin the pedal to the medal tryin to find a parking spot, while Dane was yelling with his arms in the air "EVERYBODY CALM DOWN, WOODY SLOW DOWN"
which was really funny cause nobody was freaking out accept for him
(this may have been one of those "You had to be there moments")
Hilarious
#2 So we flew in to Vegas on Sunday and our Anniversary was on Monday
and Tuesday rolls around
Laura "Hey when is your guys anniversary"
Kwynne "AAhhh, umm, yesterday?"
Laura "What? and you didn't say anything"
Dane "Was it really yesterday"
Kwynne "if Monday was the 3rd then yes"
Laura "Oh we should have done something"
Kwynne "Happy Anniversary Babe"
Dane "Happy Anniversary"

Not so much of a highlight, there were none.

Character

We went to this family expo and so we got this character done of Molly.

I think it is super cute so I decided to post it for all to enjoy.

So clearly I am a little upset right now.
And should probably wait to write this out when my blood has stopped boiling.
Molly and me were just at the grocery store minding our own peas and ques, when this nice lady comes up to me and starts asking about Molly. "oh she's so cute!", "Whats her name?"" How old is she?" and ends with another "oh she's just so cute!"
Me being naive thinks that this is the end of our encounter.
Oh wait, bring "DINK" husband into the picture.
Nice Lady "Honey look at this baby isn't she so cute?"
Dink Husband " She looks like a boy!"
Nice Lady "Honey she has a bow in her hair, clearly she is a little girl"
Dink husband "I am just saying she looks like a little boy"
In Kwynne's head "HEY DINK HEAD, (only my thoughts were worse then just the Dink word) your ugly!"
So this was my experience at the grocery store. Now I am not blind I know my baby is bald, I also know she is chubby, but she to me, is perfect in every single way.
I wouldn't change you Molly for anything. My life is sweet peas and cherry blossoms because of you.

Trip to Southern Alberta

One of my good friends Sami, went through the temple

last week for the first time

(she is getting married in June).

So Molly and I set out on an

adventure to be there for her.

So glad we did.

When we left Wednesday morning it was recommended by a couple of people that

I should maybe wait and of course

I didn't listen

These pictures are what I was confronted with once I hit Medicine Hat

Yes that is the yellow line,

and yes that is me driving on the wrong side of it.

Needless to say it was a little crazy

But we made it

Six hours without a peep from my 8 month old

made concentrating on the roads very easy.

Thursday night I made it to the temple to support Sami

A few of my old roommates came as well.

I lived with these girls

during some of the most trialing times in my life

and there we were all together

all making the choices in life to be there.

In other words I love them and it was just a really nice experience.

Imagine, your sitting on a couch.

You look over and see three of your favorite people cuddling.

You think to yourself "oh that would be a cute picture"

You grab your camera.

Stand up, to capture this sweet little moment

Gee... I wonder if this girls mother ever makes her sit in front of a camera?

Strawberries Anyone?

They are not the kind of strawberries you eat, but the kind of strawberries that grow on you.

So Molly girl was born with 2 strawberry hemangiomas.

They are a kind of birth mark that grow very big and very rapidly.

The one on the back of her leg is GINORMOUS, and pretty much hasn't changed since the day she was born.

But the one on her head started out teeny tiny infact I thought it was a bruise from the probe they put on her head to measure her heart rate.

It wasn't

The good thing about these little strawberries is that they go away.

The one on her head is really starting to go away, but that one I don't really care about anyways cause her hair will cover it. Well when she gets hair, it will cover it.

Anyways this post is really for me.

I thought I should document it just incase I forget one day that she had them.

TIMMY

So me and one of my good friends Laura went to Tim McGraw a week ago. Now to say that I may have a slight crush on this human being may be a slight understatement.

I asked Dane when I got home that if I were to get a body like Faith Hill, If he wouldn't mind getting a body like Tim McGraw.

I don't have the picture of his backside Laura does, but it was pretty cute.

Besides his body and musical talent there were some other upsides to this night for instance

Freshly squeezed lemonade, yup what's a concert without freshly squeezed lemonade?

Mini Donuts, who goes to an arena and doesn't buy mini donuts? Well not me and Laura

Tim felt the need to introduce himself

"Hi, I'm Tim McGraw"

Laura thought she should tell him that she knew, ok she screamed that she knew.

hahaha

Tim also asked me if I liked the HONKY TONK, even though there were alot of other people there I really do feel like he was asking me haha

I let him know that I loved the honky tonk, really loud.

Tim also forgot the words to one of his songs, HYSTERICAL.

That was a first for me
